A DAY TO REMEMBER

     This is our 121st celebration of Independence Day. The day our country was free from the Spanish colonialism. The day our first president, Emilio Aguinaldo, waved our Philippine flag in Kawit, Cavite for the first time.
     The flag has also a meaning. There are three colors of the flag, white that means cleanliness, red that means war, and blue that means peace. Also when the color blue is on top, it means there is peace, when the color red is on top, it means there will be war.
     We celebrate Independence Day to show our respect to our fallen heroes. At school, we bring flaglets and we put them in our classrooms and in other places of the school.
     June 12, 1898 is a day to remember. Because of the braveness of our heroes, we became free. They were the ones who fought for our freedom. Without them, maybe we would still be on the Spanish colonialism.

REFLECTION

      This last Quarter, 4th Quarter, we learned all about Photoshop. We learned Basic Photoshop back in the 8th Grade, but now that we're Grade 10 it is more advance than Grade 8. We learned all about its tools and how to use it. It is a good idea to use the Photoshop in order to edit Photos in a nicer way. We had fun learning it and I hope that we will apply it on the future. Change is basically a variation in the common way of doing things. Whenever people perform a task in a certain way, they get accustomed to them. They develop methods which they can implement routinely to achieve these tasks. Any variation in these methods is nothing but change. Change happens whether we like it or not and regardless of whether we do anything about it. Tomorrow will be different than today. We can resist, but that is a bit like standing in a river and trying to hold back the water – useless. We have a choice to watch change passively happening around us, or to participate and lead it. We can lead change and make our world a better place if we start with ourselves.
