REFLECTION THIRD QUARTER

Image
The blogging experience so far has been interesting. It's not always enjoyable but i think this is more so a matter of the blog we are working on. Some assignments are of course better than others. As a student, this is definitely a good way to expand my creativity and confidence in my abilities. I also like the whole idea of using technology for our assignments. CHRISTMAS

Image
The  true message of Christmas  is found in the Bible. Before Santa, the presents, and  Christmas  trees was the original story of the Nativity, the birth of Jesus. Christians will tell you that Jesus was born in a manger, in complete poverty. When crucified on the cross some 33 years later, He would save humanity. Christmas  is celebrated to remember the birth of of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. The name ' Christmas ' comes from the Mass of Christ (or Jesus). A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life. The  Christmas  gift reminds us of how God gave us the gift of His Son and that Jesus Christ gave us the greatest gift of all. Giving gifts is meant to be a symbol of love and kindness and remembrance of the gift of eternal life made possible by the Savior. SOURCE: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/_joaDjvoIjc/maxresdefault.jpg

RESPECT ONE ANOTHER

Image
Gender Development .  Gender  refers to an individual's anatomical sex, or sexual assignment, and the cultural and social aspects of being male or female. An individual's personal sense of maleness or femaleness is his or her  gender  identity. The  purpose of GAD  is to ensure that both men and women can participate in, and benefit from, development in a way that is equitable. Republic Act  No.  9262  is an act defining violence against women and their children, providing for protective measures for victims, prescribing penalties therefore, and for other purposes. This act is important because it acknowledges femicide and gender-based violence as a global problem that needs government, nonprofit and faith-based organizations interacting to promote the improvement of women’s livelihoods. It recognizes the increasing issues related to women’s health and well-being. SOURCE: https://www.shfcph.com/images/GAD.png

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

Image
Environmental awareness  means being aware of the natural  environment  and making choices that benefit the earth, rather than hurt it. Some of the ways to practice  environmental awareness  include: using safe and non-toxic building supplies, conserving energy and water, recycling, activism, and others. November is Environmental Awareness Month by virtue of Republic Act No. 9512 signed on Dec. 12, 2008. The law says the promotion of national awareness on the role of natural resources in economic growth and the importance of environmental conservation shall be done through environmental education. Environmental awareness  proves  important  for several reasons; it fosters a sense of connection to the natural world, promotes sustainable development and encourages conservation of irreplaceable natural resources and vulnerable plant and animal species. VALUES

Image
For this year, the theme of the FVM celebration is “Pamilyang Pilipino Patatagin: Susi sa Paghubog ng Kabataang Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakakalikasan at Makabansa” which “emphasizes the importance and critical role of the family in strengthening Filipino values and developing individuals who are pro-God, pro-people, pro-country, and pro-nature especially in this digital age.” Our values are important because they help us to grow and develop. They help us to create the future we want to experience. Every individual and every organisation is involved in making hundreds of decisions every day. The decisions we make are a reflection of our values and beliefs, and they are always directed towards a specific purpose. That purpose is the satisfaction of our individual or collective (organisational) needs. RIGHTS OF A CHILD

Image
With the theme, “Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan,” this year’s celebration of the NCM is made extra special as it coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC). The said activities may include hoisting of streamer/banner of this year’s NCM celebration depicting its theme; recitation of the “Panatang Makabata” during the flag raising ceremonies on all Mondays of November; development, production and distribution of information, education and communication materials and other collaterals to include those developed by the CWC; in-class discussions on current issues such as bullying and conduct of child-friendly activities such as art contests and others. DepEd also noted that the summit aims to “celebrate the successes in upholding the rights of the child and identify the challenges in their realization to help address them with a whole-of-society approach, in

UN MONTH CELEBRATION

Language is pivotal in the areas of human rights protection, good governance, peace building, reconciliation, and sustainable development. It is through language that we communicate with the world, define our identity, express our history and culture, learn, defend our human rights and participate in all aspects of society.  Through language, people preserve their community’s history, customs and traditions, memory, unique modes of thinking, meaning and expression.     They also use it to construct their future. Languages play a crucial role in the daily lives of people, not only as a tool for communication, education, social integration and development, but as a repository for each person's unique identity, cultural history, traditions, and memory. But despite their immense value, languages around the world continue to disappear at an alarming rate.  SOURCE: https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fupload.wikimedia.org%2Fwikipedia%2Fen%2F8%2F8c%2FLogo_of

REFLECTION 2ND QUARTER

Image
In this quarter, I've learned about on how to make blogs and learned a lot about html that  HTML is a set of codes that a website author inserts into a plain text file to format the content. The author inserts HTML tags, or commands, before and after words or phrases to indicate their format and location on the page. HTML tags are also used to add tables, lists, images, music, and other elements to a web page. ISNHS INTRAMURALS

Image
Intramurals are an opportunity for students to compete against their classmates in various sports. It is open to all students.   The purpose of the intramural program is to provide fun, safe and structured play experiences that promote the physical, mental and social development of every child. Our aim is to provide opportunities for every individual, regardless of ability, to participate in a sport activity that will develop skill and interest in a friendly, recreation-centered environment. The celebration lasted from September  12-14,2019. A parade was done as an opening and then next, the opening  program that was held at the Gymnasium and was attended  by teachers, guests and students. Sportsmanship and leadership of the athletes have been developed, that's why majority of the players after the activity taken are concluding that, "It is not important if you win or loss in a game, what is more important is how you played the game." MY TEACHER, MY HERO

Image
Teacher’s Day is a special day dedicated to all teachers celebrated every year to honor the teachers and appreciate their special contributions towards education. The role of teachers in everyone’s life is great as they are the only visual source of knowledge for their students.    Teachers are the real holder of knowledge, enlightenment and prosperity using which they nourish and prepare us for our life. They serve as source of lighting lamp in our lives. It is our teachers who stand behind our success. Out teachers too have lots of daily routine problems just like us and our parents but they always keep their teaching profession at top and attend schools or colleges to complete their job responsibilities. Nobody say them thanks for their priceless job. So, we as students have some responsibility towards our teachers at least we can say them thanks once a year.     Teachers come across  numerous challenges  in their daily activities such as the  unappreciative  culture by the
