 Gender Development. Gender refers to an individual's anatomical sex, or sexual assignment, and the cultural and social aspects of being male or female. An individual's personal sense of maleness or femaleness is his or her gender identity.

 The purpose of GAD is to ensure that both men and women can participate in, and benefit from, development in a way that is equitable.

 Republic Act No. 9262 is an act defining violence against women and their children, providing for protective measures for victims, prescribing penalties therefore, and for other purposes.

 This act is important because it acknowledges femicide and gender-based violence as a global problem that needs government, nonprofit and faith-based organizations interacting to promote the improvement of women’s livelihoods. It recognizes the increasing issues related to women’s health and well-being.

REFLECTION

      This last Quarter, 4th Quarter, we learned all about Photoshop. We learned Basic Photoshop back in the 8th Grade, but now that we're Grade 10 it is more advance than Grade 8. We learned all about its tools and how to use it. It is a good idea to use the Photoshop in order to edit Photos in a nicer way. We had fun learning it and I hope that we will apply it on the future. Change is basically a variation in the common way of doing things. Whenever people perform a task in a certain way, they get accustomed to them. They develop methods which they can implement routinely to achieve these tasks. Any variation in these methods is nothing but change. Change happens whether we like it or not and regardless of whether we do anything about it. Tomorrow will be different than today. We can resist, but that is a bit like standing in a river and trying to hold back the water – useless. We have a choice to watch change passively happening around us, or to participate and lead it.
